Not me - chat rooms are notorious for that kind of thing.
Also a good way to have your PC screwed up when the wrong people are around - it isn't for me.

Seems that the folk in the chat room are just bad-mouthing the SF mods.
Jonny is retyping everything that I've emailed to him.
Inte is just slandering everyone - except Graham. He seems a bit pissed (Inte, not Graham).
Asto, Mk2Eskort and RR.9 are in on the game.
Seems like a place for the under 18's. Don't know what Jonny sees in the place. I'd have thought that he'd be racing on a Friday night?

I had no intention of going there and that stands.
In hindsight it's just as well this board doesn't have a room.
Hopefully they can't vent their spleens there and leave this place a tad more easy-going.

The chat room reveals some secrets...
It turns out that Aaron (AKA Gaugemaster) is also maskerading as Dandiest Guitarman.
He's actually talking to himself on the chat room and asking himself what he feels about the SF moderators. He's doing this because the other blokes are tired of the subject and started to talk about slotcars. He's inciting trouble.

Sorry, I shold have said - I'd sussed Aaron was the guitar man a while back, can't recall why. Like I said last night, is banning really a useful tool if they can get new names or already have them?
Curiously, Aaron came in for some slagging last night from a Liphook/Clanfield regular who took over running a Mini club from him.
Oh well, may as well tell you all - I'm a bisexual serial killer who defrauds old ladies using illegally imported small dogs that I have conducted medical experiments on. Apart from that, I'm a pretty staright forward sort of fellow. Just don't tell anyone I play with toy cars.

He said on the chatrooms that he had sent out 20 emails to SF members telling them of his intention to leave. He denied this to me when I asked him about it after I had received a bunch of email from 'concerned' members.
It seems that anyone that has received a freebee or anyone that still wants to receive a freebee from Gaugemaster is on his side.
My intentions are this: If any more ****e surfaces, I will write a letter to the directors of Gaugemaster outlining the problem. If they want their establishment banned from our Forum due to a bloke with a split-personality then that will be their problem. Aaron can come on under his name and say what he wants and get banned or whatever, but I don't think that Gaugemaster would like to be associated with that.

Doug, you are totally on the ball and are seeing the complete picture very clearly.
I cannot imagine that a reputable company would condone his lack of professionalism while using their name. A bit of a Jekyll and Hide character and apparently unable to separate the emotional individual from the professional representative.
Aaron's personal strategy has always been the classic "Divide and Conquer" - bribe a bunch of natives with baubles and beads, get them well on your side and then turn them against those whom you wish to usurp.
It can work very effectively - for a while.

Hmmm, I thought I mailed one or more of you guys a while ago that Aaron was the Dandy. He told me himself.
I certainly warned him of the fact that the board would doubtless log him on the same IP as GC and DG and that his game would be rumbled. I didn't mention it to you Doug because I figured you probably were already aware - via the IP.
I thought my heads-up would be a warning to him to not prat about like some fool at SCI...

I think an issue here is Aaron representing GM about everything he says. Even Jonny probably thinks Aaron is a bit silly, but he doesn't was to p-off GM because of sponsorship agreements. So Jonny has to blindly agree with all the stuff Aaron (through GM) says.
I would prefer Aaron to register as himself or to develop the DG character and leave the GM ID for serious non-confrontational topics.
