I made up some guardrails using plastic tongue in groove strap
dremelled a groove down centre
spray painted chrome
attached to dowell by hot glue gun & added banners.

I also added led strip i had left over from job to boarders
just lifted the painted strip inserted led strip
dremelled out plastic bits underneath
cut led strip to length
wired back to led driver
reinserted plastic

Thanks guys for kind words. It was easy to do & when turned off you wouldn't know any different hit the plug
& really catches your eye.

Sea level
the led strip was left over I had it was mostly warm white which is a sort of a dull yellowy color
I also had some pieces of white which really brought the red & white out of the scalextric border,which looks really good. The photos mainly show the warm white ,you can see the white which is a bit blurry,the photos don't really do it justice they were taken with my phone I will take some better shots to show you the difference over the coming weekend
You can buy it in 5 metre lengths 15 ft
And can be cut in lengths as short as 50mm/2 inch & joined
It runs on a 12v dc transformer supplied in kit
