Anybody notice the banked bends on the circuit? A new piece of track for the old system? Unless they've sneaked some old Hornby stock in for the photo!

That Walrus nosed Williams is terrible. The real car didn't look great, but that is BAD.

How come they can do such great tin-tops and then make an F1 car like that?

I am warming to the SCX system - they seem alot more advanced in there development cycle than scalextric.
If Adrian (or anyone else from scalextric is reading this) : we NEED a straight
cross over piece as this half straight followed by 90 degree corner just don't work
for alot of people circuits.

I hate and look foward to the last couple of months of the year - lots of models I have to have, but a big hole in my budget just before Christmas! What a dilemma - do the wife and kids miss out or do I wait a while and buy later!?

Focus, Pug and Lancia will be winging their way to my track.

What is wrong with the Williams? It to me looks awful, but then it is a Formula 1 car. They all look awful. So nothing different there.

Hmmm, that Lancia looks a tad 'pre-production' to me. I can't think we'll be seeing it in November. Darn.

Williams looks as odd as the 1:1.

Banked curves look like they are coming back - check out the box to the left of the circuit where they appear, looks like a package with banked curves in it to me. But don't lots of current cars fall foul of the old style ones?

I can assure you that lots of cars contemporary with Scalextric's initial release of the banked curves, fouled them too!

scirk-scirk-sc-sc-scirk... and that was with the Embassy Shadows supplied as std!

Indeed it is an Opel Astra

Reasons you may not have seen it before:

It's digital only and/or a Spanish only release?

Phil,

The car in the digital side lane shot is an Opel Astra DTM in the 'vitaphone' livery - I think it is only available in the SCX digital sets, but I'm not sure.

However I have relivered a Ninco DTM Astra into that 'vitaphone' livery decals supplied by Bruce Patto in Australia.

The bank track is already on sale in Spain - sorry i did see it a few weeks back but forgot!

Delivery dates for the new models is looking very tight for Christmas! basically they should arrive first/second week in SCX livery to the UK

The williams looks too strecthed. I thought the 1:1 as more snub nosed.

Vectra looks class, Integrale looks like a toy. I aggree with Wankel.

Its actually a Vectra DTM.
