Choti vs Shinoda's- who was more inovative and/or influenced future designs?

short design with intergated rear spoiler,( not stapled on)

I think they were both very influencing designers myself...what do you think?

Great looking bodies, i-Ray.
Funny to see them all standing still when they ought to all be hammering around a huge banked oval at insane speeds.

Ran across these Choti stylish looking bodies. Kind of looks like ones that are in the Choti Ad? What's nice about that ad is: it opens the possiablities that can be done. A minimalist approach & the numbering system, suggest more than what is there
What do you think ????

Bodies inspired by Choti ad ??? I like these two bodies- great imagination

Yes J,

I think they were made of Papier-mache ? if I recall- cool
there's a lost art !
But , I think Noda can do some copies of this style of Choti's- next X-project ??

It was mentioned about racers that were stapling wings on their Choti bodies... I ran across these pic's a while ago and just ran across them again

possiable one could intergrate them into the body itself ?? only time will tell.

Anotherone I ran across was the : Red-Deepdish Choti design ???

Aerodynamically speaking, John Chotia's bodies were superior to those of Larry Shinoda, little doubt about that. Aesthetically speaking, the Shinoda bodies are definitely more pleasing to the eye...
Both types are totally cool!

Looking good, iRay!

While I prefer the second two shapes, have you though of continuing the small centre fin on the top body right to the back of the car in the same way that modern F1 cars and Le Mans Prototypes do? That might look cool.

Hey Steve,

Also, if I continue the fin up into to the back area, it will give more room for the motor? Yes! I have thought about it, lol. Thanks for your keen eyes & intuitve insight

Until I mount a body, it's all guess work
not to mansion the hack job on the body trimming i did
