Hi all.

A good friend of mine who runs a Classic Mini Cooper Restoration Workshop has asked me to supply him with enough classic track big enough to fill out a full floor level

This is to mark the grand opening of the new workshop.

It's located at Mini technique Bradshaw lane Pilling PR3 6SN Preston.

Specialists in classic mini service and restoration.

Track is a four lane vintage plexy track with the main circuit running through the open doors of a fully prepared rally mini shell.

This is suspended through the lift floor entrance, almost in mid air.

And various other mini engine and body parts along the way.

We're even using classic hand controllers.

It will be 80 foot by 20,i've seen the plans and this is going to be fun.
280 plus straights alone,it's big,no very big

This is going to be any mini fans dream day out.

All kinds of activity's,mini clubs, passenger rides, tyre change etc

Food will be served all day.

I'm in charge of looking after the track and cars to keep everyone happy racing.Or try to.

But you are welcome to bring your own,so if you have a classic mini, bring it along
Factory standard cars only though.

Probably the best to use will be the later hornby hobbies type, like say the toys r us ones etc

Testing sessions,races heats etc.

Fun for all ages.

Here is a link to his website with the details.

Track has all been counted and it's build will be started right away.

Once i have pictures i will add them on here.

Will be added onto facebook etc within the next week

Local press will be there too

If you have any questions i'd be happy to answer

Hope to see you there.
