This week-end. See details.

QUOTE Racing legend Sir Stirling Moss is offering all visitors to the show the chance to race on a model version of a historic Formula One track.

Sir Stirling, who will himself race a model of the famous Maserati 250F, is officially opening the show, and the miniature racetrack will be sited on the stand of the event's sponsor's specialist insurance broker Footman James.

Peter James, managing director at Footman James, said: "We'll be offering visitors a unique opportunity to race against each other with model versions of the two most famous historic cars associated with Sir Stirling's F1 career."

The model racing track - developed by Scalextric - will give visitors taking up the race challenge the chance to win the replica racing cars signed by Sir Stirling Moss, and runners-up will receive a copy of his signed autobiography.

Hey race fans, this looks like a great chance to go out and win a few prizes. If anyone is going, please take some photos and get them back to me to post here.
