Tonight saw round 1 of our Classic Sports/Gt Championship for this year.

Seven drivers attended, lower than normal for a Classic night for various reasons.

One of our 'Senior Members' Dennis achieved a great result in winning the B final, taking him into the A final. I have posted this as his wife wouldn't believe him, so here it is in black and white.

A great scrap in the A final between Ian and Dave with Ian just coming out on top, Dave having one too many offs.

Final placings as follows -

IAN 25

DAVE 23
ALFIE 21
DENNIS 20
KEITH 19
MIKE 18

TONE 17

Concours points to be added by Alfie, no fastest lap points will be issued.

Hi guys
thanks for supporting the classic races it was a shame that the usual members could not compete for various reason.
it was a fun night marshalling was an experience to say the least.
the concours was a tie between David and Kieth.
the next classic is on the 13th July and will be classic saloons.

Well done Dennis driving Dave's Healey you was on-it all night. Dave was really quick with his Maserati but cracked in the A Final. Here are the quickest laps:

My Scalex D Type went much better once I stopped the front wheels from rubbing on the shell.
