The plastic part...
I know cleaning of the metal bits has been covered but I would like to know how I can go about getting some really old track looking like new? The plastic has discoloured and I would like to get ti back to black (very noticeable where new track meets old)
Would one of these car bumper blackening gel products work or will it turn it in to an ice drink to race on?

Thanks,
Jack

There are at least a couple of threads on this forum addressing this question.
Try doing a SEARCH (in the URH corner of the screen) on "cleaning track" to see what you can find.
Cheers!
