Since "finding" the forums a couple of years ago, I have not felt the need to check, sometimes daily, all the various slot sites in an effort to keep up with all the latest news/release etc., as somebody on here would always bring this sort of thing to our attention hot off the presses.

With the forum being "down" a couple of times lately, I had to go and look at other stuff and found some new/announced cars, not yet talked about on here.

Firstly Sean on Pendleslot has a "new release" Proslot Alfa 156 on his front page. So are they still in action or is this just a warehouse find that has recently surfaced? Sean?

Also MRE are showing pics of 2 new liveries of the Revell NSU on their future releases section.

Mr M,

Ta-Daaaaaaaaa!

Spirit Peugeot T-16

For comparison purposes?

Top Slot Version (looks a much nicer model IMHO)

Pictures all courtesy of the top peeps at Slot Adictos.com

SCX Lancia Delta Integrale

While you're waiting for the Fly 911 may I recommend this story:

Michael Keyser drives a Porsche 911 at Le Mans in 1972

The car featured is the first livery/release for the Porsche.

Best wishes.

Mr Keyser is a local. I was unintentionally invited to a test session of a new track being set up about 20 miles from my home. I go there, knowing no one of course since I'm a newbie to 1/32nd scale stuff, and look at the tracks and watch the imprompto racing. Later on I was in the office looking at some displays when a gentleman that introduced himself to me earlier as Michael shows me that Fly catalog you posted and said that was his car. I just smiled and nodded, adding some banal comment like, "Oh, that's nice" and went about my business

Yup, I'm an idiot. I didn't realise the other gentleman I was introduced to, by the name of Oscar, was Oscar Koveleski. Founder of Autoworld and an ex CanAm racer. I also met Ecurie Martini from here that day too but I was sort of expecting him. In fact, he was the person I primarily went to see.

I seem to wander blindly and blunder into the oddest situations which others would kill to experience. I never know what's going on and it's payed off so far

Well, next you see Mr Keyser thank him for a great film (The Speed Merchants) and two great books (Speed Merchants and A French Kiss With Death) even if the latter has possibly the most cringe-worthy title ever.

I'm not entirely sure what is going on with Proslot. For the best part of 2 years we have heard all the 'Proslot gone bust' rumours.
However, we still manage to obtain sporadic amount of cars and spares. The PS 1044 Alfa Romeo is a new release for us. It was supposed to have been released over 2 years ago, i don't know if these have been locked away in some warehouse since that time or have been recently produced, so the rumours still cannot be denied or confirmed. If you know the truth - spill the beans!

Sorry the news about the Revell NSU TT's doesn't seem very exciting, but I am sworn to secrecy about everything else.

You'll just have to keep peeping into the MRE site to spot other new release items when I can post them.
