I have been extremely fortunate in having been generously given a collection of 1/32nd scale Ferrari slot cars.
There are 47 cars in the collection and each one has been sprayed with the same Ferrari red paint and silver painted headlight covers. Even the drivers have been identically painted! Some are Scalextric or other production cars; some are 'kit-bashed' and some are scratchbuilt.
Some pictures of the entire collection, more-or-less grouped by type:-
Very kind of you to point that out Russell - think I'll go off in a corner and eat me porridge...
Don
PS: for what it's worth I used to have a VIP Ferrari...
PPS: you'll notice that I'm not abusing my position as Mod by just erasing this whole thing - figure everybody needs a good laugh now and then, and the blue looks very chic in the middle of all that red...
the car in post#4 is the Riko 19/11 R661 Can-Am Ferrari P4 kit, but with scratchbuilt chassis, he even used the guide, front wheels, axles, and Ricochet motor !!.
That is how a lot of us got started.
I have one, ( an un-opened still on card example ), in front of me as I type !!.
Whether they be UK Triang cars or Exin Spanish cars they all say 'Made in Spain' on the undertray.
The bodies were made in Spain by Exin and shipped to the UK for assembly with UK RX motors and UK wheels and tyres.
The guide had to be cut down as Triang used a softer braid than Exin and with the soft braid the uncut guide would bottom out on Scalextric Classic track, this was not a problem with Exin's stiffer braid as it kept the guide slightly higher in the slot. I have had problems in the past with customers who have bought MB UK C41s and complained that the guide had been cut down, but this was done at the factory by Triang themselves.
The Braids from Ferrari P5 is Prefo from GDR. Come this Ferrari Body Shell from GDR and this Chassis is Homemade with Prefo Braids ?
The wheel in to Ferrari is Prefo.

Wonderful collection, Russell, and many treasures there.
The #39 P3 with the Classic shell and the #26 250/275P (your post 9/8) have MRRC running gear where the steering unit seems to have been turned upside down and the rear block for mounting to the engine cut off. The latter's bevel gears would be MRRC. I don't think it's a Super Shells 250P body, however. The mid-wing is too wide, the driver different (hands closer together), and the SS body has filler caps on both sides.
The #10 250LM (your post 9/7) has the Airfix Slimline motor and the body may be Airfix, though the roof looks wider in your photo. The cockpit panel may identify it - the two I've had were from static kits.
Another 250LM, #89, and a similar #35 (not sure of type) probably have Riko GXL chassis and RikoRocket 16D motors. Not Airfix shells.
The #48 Monogram 275P looks nicely standard, or "very original" as they say. Not sure about the contrate, as mine is different nowadays, but I think that one is standard.
I was intrigued by the Aurora cube motors. I have a similar (colourful) motor and didn't know where it originated. But that's another story.
Best of luck in sorting them all out. What a drudge!!!

Number 53 on row 8 could be a Lindberg "clam shell" static kit. Number 68 row 5 might be a Carrera body as is number 45 row 6. Number 6 row 7-Scalextric. Number 83 on the same row looks a bit like the Gama model, but the nose is a bit crude. That could be a Supershells 250. It looks like the roll bar has been replaced with a scratchbuilt item. Maybe the filler caps gave been filled/sanded off. I have seen better ways of mounting a shell that that big screw!
