The top 3 lap record holders on Top Gear's "Star in a reasonably priced car" segment are comedians from the North. Ross Noble, Rowan Atkinson etc etc

Rowan just set fastest lap time, not too surprising as he does do a fair bit of racing.

As for the rest, I'd say coincidence - although if Bernard Manning returns from the grave and sticks a fastest lap time in I might have to change my opinion.

Well I would have to says its all down to the talent we have up north

Ross comes from Cramlington, a few miles north of me & Rowan is from Consett. My wife tells me all the time that im a comedian so I must be a good driver
