I've just noticed that all of the address and contact details, website urls and other relevant information is missing from every club's entry in the Clubs forum.

This needs to be rectified sooner rather than later, as this was a very valuable resource and one of the few ways members and browsers of SlotForum could find places to race.

Please attend to this quickly.
Each club will need to add that information (as a thread) to their club forum section. Once you add the information to your club, please report the post to us so that we can make it a sticky so it stays at the top of that forum.

Galleries were broken long before the transition to the new forum software.

At this time it does not look like the old images can be recovered, but I am still looking into this.

For those interested in making a new Gallery...

How To Add A Gallery

Click on the 3 vertical dots near the upper-right-hand corner of the community.

Click on “Gallery” in the drop-down menu.

From the left side navigation, click on “Your albums”.

Near the top right of the page, click on “Add media”.

A popup will open. Click on “Create personal album”.

First, add a title to your album and a description. Now it is time to click “Upload file”.

Once you have uploaded your file, add some information for the image.

When you are done, click save.

When need to add to your album, click on “Gallery” from the drop-down menu below the dots in the upper right-hand corner of the site again.

Click on “Your albums” from the left-side navigation.

You can click on the add media button again.

And then click on “Add media to existing album.

Or if you prefer, when you click on “Your albums” you can just click on the specific album where you want to add the image(s)

When you click on a specific album, you will also see some privacy options so you can decide who can view your images and who can’t.

Gallery/Album Feature

You can easily share an Album in a forum thread if you wish.

Navigate to the album you would like to share by clicking on Gallery below the 3 dots in the upper right-hand corner of the site.

On the Gallery page, click on Your Albums.

Then click on the album you want to share. On the lower right-hand corner of your album. Copy that code and paste it into the content area of your post.

Oh, I am kinda into photography, so I have a lot of images from my cameras and from my phone. Those had been resized for another use but in most cases, you don't need to resize at all because the forum software will resize to fit the space allowed. Image can be up to 20MB.

Although I added those to the Gallery, It is super easy to add images directly into your posts now too.

You can simply copy/paste or drag and drop an image directly into the content area of your post. (You can still click the image icon if you prefer to upload that way.)

When I am taking a picture on my iPhone of something really small, I turn my camera upside down for a different perspective.

As an example, this is one of those little toys from McDonalds that I stood up in the grass.

YES!
Jesus Christ. This has been asked and answered a hundred times, it seems.
Fix it. Recreate it. I don't care. Just stop asking about what we mean.

This was answered in another thread.

HobbyTalk Traders will no longer be an option moving forward. Several were removed during the transition to the new platform. Most current Hobby Traders were given Premium membership.

We are working on something for our small business owners in the future, who are unable to be Site Vendors but I do not yet have an ETA for this.

but did you notify them? Not that I know of
did you consult with them/ not that I know of

In spite of al that I am glad the moderators and admin team have little say in what is happening....or so it seems to me.

If you haven't seen it, this is our 'masters' plan...

Bloomberg - Are you a robot?

At VerticalScope, we expect that revenue and traffic will continue to be

negatively impacted by the migration of forum sites on to a new technology

platform. Over 300 sites representing approximately 35% of forum traffic were

migrated by the end of 2019 and the remaining sites are expected to be

migrated by the end of 2020. The new platform is expected to improve the user

experience and site performance and return the sites to growth over time.

However traffic and revenue are likely to decline during the transition and a

period of adjustment and revenue trends experienced in 2019 are expected to

continue for the full year in 2020. Early indicators suggest that site

performance and user engagement has improved on migrated sites. Adjusted

EBITDA margins and cash flow from operations are expected to decline somewhat

but remain relatively strong.

From a cash flow perspective, we expect to reduce capital expenditures in 2020

to approximately $13 million, the majority of which relates to capital

spending related to technology platforms in connection with our transformation

activities as well as spending on initiatives that reduce our future operating

expenses. In addition, at the end of 2019 we had net receivables related to

digital media tax credits totaling $31.3 million, $20.2 million of which was

received subsequent to the end of 2019. The amount and timing of any further

cash to be realized is dependent upon the final review and approval by the

Canada Revenue Agency.

Si tenéis otros sitios (paginas web, blogs, etc.) las imágenes subidas aquí en origen y luego posteadas en esos sitios, han desaparecido, como en blogger. En SF se mantienen, pero con otra dirección de imagen.

If you have other sites (web pages, blogs, etc.) the images uploaded here originally and then posted on those sites, have disappeared, as in blogger. In SF they are maintained, but with another image direction.

I see we have a new section headed "Vendor Deals"
When I click on the heading I don't have sufficent privileges to post.

What is the purpose of this awful "Americanism".
Is it for any of your customers/members to post items for sale, is it intended for businesses to post special offers or does it have another mysterious purpose?
What privileges do I require to post in it. At a guess it will be premium membership.

If you don't explain the purpose of the section and how to use it then you can't expect to have anyone post there.

It is for Paid Vendors/Advertisers. Only Vendors would be able to post there.

Members have their own section for this.
