I used to visit here at the old site when it was more user friendly, intuitively easier to navigate, aesthetically more pleasing and less clunky and cluttered. Less is more! I don't care about the bells and whistles. I prefer the old-style forum.

What's the chances of having the 'Mark All Button' added to the floating header bar?
I know I can tap the 'Home' key and click it but so used to just using the mouse to navigate when I have a cuppa in my other hand.

It is located within NEW and isn't likely to change, but I have passed on your feedback.

How To Mark Forums Read

If you want to mark a specific forum as read, navigate to that forum. At the top you will see a button to “Mark All Read.

If you want to mark all threads in the community as read, click on NEW near the upper right-hand corners of the site.

Click on Mark All Read.

You will then see a popup confirming that this is what you want to do. Click “Mark All Read”.

Rail Racing Cars from Around the World

Hello Geoff, You are correct, it is likely only the inserts that were changed. Unfortunately I've never raced a rail car, nor for that matter even seen one being raced. I just fell in love with the whole concept of cars being built up from bits and pieces, tested, tuned, beautifully decorated...

has just written to me, stating that just about all his original photos are gone from the earlier pages on the thread.
I also noticed that on some of the later pages, the photos have become thumbnails.
I know some photos have disappeared because of hosting problems, but what happened to Phil Frank's photos here?

Don, this has been a problem from the off, all the pictures I had in my gallery that were linked to posts have disappeared, everything I posted from 2004 to 2018? is gone.
Let's be honest, VS media isn't interested in fixing any of the problems we have highlighted (otherwise they would have made some progress already).
I am not interested in putting them back manually, if I am to undertake that amount of work, it will not be here, there is a very good alternative.
Time to face the reality of the situation, this place is no longer our community, VS media was expecting a drop in traffic, let's make their dream come true.
Bail out guys.
