QUOTE Which of the silicone moulding materials would you recommend and which resin for producing slotcars?
I had such a discussion with the man from Tiranti and was recommended a T28 silicone mould rubber used with T6 catalyst and Axson F16 2 part resin. I haven't used these materials yet but hope to make a cast of my "simple home-made lump of plaster '60s F1 car" shortly - will report my findings on the forum (unless it's a complete embarrassment in which case you imagined this post).
Just a tip - this stuff has a limited shelf life (around 6 months) so I wouldn't shell out until you're actually about ready to use it.
Btw howmet, when do you think you'll have my Brad Pitt look-a-like latex mask ready?
