Any suggestions on what can cheaply, and easily, be purchased to clean the eletrical contacts of motors? i have heard that WD40 can be used, but would like further advice on this.

Any ideas?

thanks

Don't use WD40 or any oil-based product as it will leave a residue that will only harbour more dirt and junk. Look at Maplin Electronics for a host of non-residue electrical cleaners that will not degrade plastic or epoxy bits in your motor.

I just lightly wipe with a cotton bud lighter fuel myself.
