You have seen the tower a girlfriend of my (Griet) made in the topic "LG- Super Racing Weekend"... well... my very carefull cat has passed the very nice tower... and the tower didn't prove it firmness... so it was crushed completely...

I'm sick at home so I had the time to look at the tower.... I tried to fix the tower the way Griet made it... but apparently I'm not that good... So I started the thing all over... just using the platforms of the tower... I used a bit more foam-paper (for the stability and the strongness...) because the tower will stand on a permanent track that will be clapped up against the wall with a mechanism... so it has to be quite firm...

The three places of the podium are quite big... but that will be fixed today...
In that way... I like being sick...

Yesterday I added an extra floor to the tower... Above the VIP room I made the actual "control part" with windows that come a bit out the tower for an excellent vision on the circuit...

@ Difflock: I allmost killed the little black creep... last weekend she threw also a 1:18 scale model on the ground while jumping for flies... The problem was... The scale model was an 1:18 Vw Phaeton of AutoArt... worth approx. 120 euro's... Damn I was angry... The morrors broke off... the hood can't close anymore and the rear window is broken...

The top stage won't be ready yet... because the window parts have to dry quite long...

I'll try to put one extra window in the top part and add some advertising boards...

On the top come the actual "control" part... that's were the windows come slightly out of the building. One window is allready fixed... 3 others to go... (this is not an easy part):

Anyway, I'm very, very afraid. I'll keep my models locked away... Thank God not every cat is as bad and black as Diesel, tDI-Fahrer's cat...

Btw tDI , very nice save on the tower. I might convince Griet to build a grandstand or something, would be nice 2 I think. But only if you keep Diesel locked away...

Yes Astro, I was just thinking how some SRA figures would look on it!!! Especially the Victory set for the podium. Blatant advertising, I know!!!

When I start building the permanent track... I'll buy some more figures...
But now I only use them to put in buildings to check if the scale is good or not.

Both the tower and the pits will get more details soon!
I want to make "cabins" on the pitwall, equipment for the mechanics, tables and stuff in the vip room, and some interior work in the "control-section" of the tower.
