This was removed from the packaging for a Gillete razor and I thought it had the possibilities as a 1/32nd thingie body. The part where the razor head fits could be trimmed and bent up as a wing and it has humps where the wheels could go. The rib allong the top could be left partly clear to make a cockpit. Anybody else se this or am I raving mad.

Hello Bigtone - here is a blister pack , which I turned into a 1/24 scale slot car .
The 1/32 car is an Ostorero - Dream Slot , USA . The Fox , is the blister cover
for this car . As you can see , I placed a Classic chassis inside , and it is
powered by a Revell 36D motor . It does go well . Zig

Don , didn't you name some car Blue Emerald ? Or was it the colour you used to paint a certain car ? That paint sample sure looks like
a computer mouse ! I'll post my Mouse car again - good enough reason ! Zig

Well not exactly a plastic blister , paint sampler or razor blade packet , but it is
a computer mouse turned into a slot car . Yes , it is a real slot car in 1/24 scale !

Zig, that is the Blue Emerald slot car, entered in one of the first Thingie proxy races.... It became rather infamous for being uncontrollable and a real PITA to drive!

I had the brilliant idea of pairing that shell with a 26D-powered 4WD chassis I had picked up on the internet, adding opposed hinged body mounts (over the top of the motor), thinking that would help, but without any testing, it just made it incredibly squirrely! Not to mention that marshalls couldn't tell if it was coming or going...

Don't think I've ever been as cursed out on a slot track as I was that year - but at least Swissracer was impressed, because he offered to buy the car from me! (maybe for target practice, who knows?)
