I have bead blasted a couple chassis and would like to protect them. Any ideas on what I can spray on them. Also I want to paint the wheels, what can I use to seal before painting and what type of paint would work best? Thanks!

A way that not only works but bring th parts back to their original look:
mix 5% of candy-apple red paint to 95% of clear polyurethane varnish and spray over the parts immediately after blasting.

I used lemon juice on the Cheetah magnesium wheels & chassis. Worried that varnish protection might scratch off during racing, I tried a sort of "frying pan method". I oiled the parts, let it sink in for a while, then wiped off all I could with paper towels. The surface hasn't corroded at all in about a month and isn't oily to the touch, neither does dirt stick to it any more than usual. After such a short trial period I definitely cannot recommend the method to anyone!
