One year ago started this "little" project...

The idea was to optimize my hobby room space and design a space for the new slot track.

Our Scorpius material just arrived and I got a big dilema: Leave the room as it was and mount the SW track, or do the "change" and leave the racing for later on.

The hard decision was taken and the room went emptied.

After that decision, we started with the new envoirement setup:

After many, many months, efforts and praying to the heaven, it became:

The Track design suffered several modifications, and finally it has became that one.

A non compensated 23 meter track.

The layout started with the basis presentation. It was reworked later to fit, optimize and reduce unwanted free spaces.

Then, many track tests came up to find the best and desired result:

Right now, the track is functional, and ready to run SW, ND and Analog cars (by switching system), but now starts the second phase and its nothing else than start with the "finishings".
Still several hours ahead, but the enjoyment is just that, finish the "track".

Lots of ideas are comming up the last months, it's a never ending story, but it's fun, right?

The current status is a couple of steps forward, and lots of jobs done behind the pictures (electrical, controlling, etc.).

Wow thats 2 sets of walls knocked down in one week for Scorpius tracks

Looks nice and its great how it can handle 3 different types of systems. I look forward to more progress shots.

Hi Rick,

not shown on this pictures but the lanchangers are fitted and active.
The SW start/finish LB is also running at the same track piece as the DS bridge (also is the ND s/f line).

The pit lane is still not active but it's just becasue I'm also splitting LC power supply and it takes a little bit more time. All the other LC are working fine, and the Pit LC will be ready in some days.
