I wanted to do a custom Fly Lister Storm in the gulf livery. I finally came across a used one and Iceman (John McKenzie) on the board here was able to make me the Gulf #9 GT40 decals for it. Got it all back together this afternoon and here it is.

Good question, Russell. Can't speak for others, but for me, I think it began with the Gulf Fords at Le Mans and, since then, the Gulf name (and various liveries) has always represented a serious, committed, and successful approach to racing.
