If you have your banners commercially printed be sure they are fade-resistant. Save as 300dpi minimum. TIF is a lossless format, whereas JPEG loses a little but not enough to be noticable on small images. I've had a lot printed but haven't yet found a good online source doing them on s/a 'archive' paper.
