Hiall, First off happy new year to you all,,
Now- ive cut my printer cable(useing ur3.0) to my track ,during a workshop clean up,
my question is ?can i just push the wires (not including plug housing),just wires say? pin #25 and# 10 or# 11 into back of computer??? without blowing up.
help needed, as im not really elect savy

What is it you are trying to do with the cable?

I have a diagram at home which I can send or post, but it really depends on what you want to do, inputs or outputs?

You certainly can damage the port on the PC if you connect any power to the pins.

Sorry ,
the plug got cut off, so can i use just the push wires straight into the back of the computer,without having to get a new cable ,
from the sensors to comp ???

If you are asking can you push the wires into the Parallel 25 pin female socket without a plug, then the answer is Yes, providing you know which wire was connected to which pin. Just be careful that you don't create a problem by not having a good connection.

i might try and solder pins to wires prior to putting into parallel port,
