Hi Guys,
Do you guys still do D3 Can-Am etc?
You may know that Newcastle and Wellingborough put on a couple of weekend events this year.
We are planning to do the same again in 2012 and, hopefully, add an event at North London.
Would any of you be interested in entering?
We are also looking at standardising the rule book to that of the IRRA.

Mick,

Timaru members seem to be shy in coming forward to respond!

We are slowly building up the number of D3 Can Ams and hopefully the same will happen for F1 although we do not race them regularly (yet). No one has built a Saloon yet.

We join up with N London to race these every now and again and 4 of us are going to N London for their normal D3 club night on Wednesday.

In general Timaru does not tend to travel well and have done so less since Graham Sampson has been incapacitated (hopefully surgery due very soon will improve) and Alan Callaghan decide to have a 'sabbatical' - although he is one of those coming to N London on Wednesday.

Timru would certainly be keen to have a D3 meeting and that should attract a reasonable local turnout. How much we can persuade people to travel further afield will be a different matter.

Hi Stan,
I hope you and the other guys are well.
I didn't know Graham had been unwell, please give him my best wishes.

If you guys do want to put on a meeting I'm sure that you will get some entries from North London and Wellingborough.
I only missed your last event because I was racing over in Gloucester on the Saturday and couldn't face the drive down to Ramsgate on the Sunday as well.
The two big events this year, Wellingborough and Raceway 81, have been two day affairs. F1 and Saloon on Saturday, Can-Am and Tottenham cars on Sunday.
Can you do the same or would you only run a single day meeting with Can-Am and F1 cars?

I just might get down to North London on Wednesday so I may see you then.
