Hi Capt, I'll pm you about a visit.
Very little/no progress on my layout, as I'm really struggling to get up to the loft these days.
Maybe I should do a 'non update' of my loft thread and list all of the excuses for not doing anything!

Hi Capt, thanks for letting me have a play!
Looking at the above pictures again, has the track changed?
The curves after the powerbase, I remember being a bit different.
In reply to the question at the top of the thread, I'd suggest:
-wipe the track with a damp cloth (microfibre cloths are good)
-sand the tyres
-come and have a play here

I've go the track up and running again, so when you're free...
