I met Mr Dapretto at Igualada and persuaded him to let me photograph his next three releases, I saw pictures of more to come and have to say I was impressed with this quiet, friendly and extremely skilled man from Italy..

However, releases really are limited, being restricted to 10 of each at the most. if these are your cup of tea I suggest a fast preorder to your favorite dealer.

Is that Chappy the first non-ferrari by Dapretto?

I wish I could afford to buy those. I guess I could afford to buy them, but would be too frightend to race them, and then what's the point?

Don't let me do it!! I am a terrible driver!! I will only crash them, better just stick to "cheap" slots. Help me sleep better.

Do you know if it is possible to order cars that have already been available or is it understood that once a batch is sold off the opportunity to get that particular livery is gone ?

Are the chasis on the Ferrari Fly classic from the 512?

Nice looking. I hope the wheels on the chappy are pre-pro, they look a little unfinished.

They look awesome, but I am sure they are way out of my price range. I would be afraid to race them.

As much as I could understand, the limited amount is it, BUT other liveries of the same car will be done though again limited.
Mr Dapretto does the whole lot himself, including (to answer a question above) the running gear and chassis which is also resin.

I have to honestly say the three cars I saw above were not done well in the running gear stage and I doubt any of them would have run direct from the box in the way I saw them assembled. However if these are kits then that might be solveable, if they are not then I am assuming the ones I saw were 'show' versions and the chassis assembled simply to show the cars beautiful finish. I can't imagine someone with the skill and attention to detail that Mr Dapretto so obviously has, leaving the chassis and running gear wanting.

Does anyone actually have one they could review or report on with pics?
