Thought I'd share the info as GetSlotted are offering up some more Dapretto cars - I know the last lot offered all sold out within the first day of them being on offer so if his models float your boat then you need to be quick.

I thought he produced only red ferraris but also are a 550 JMB and red bull version and also a range of white Chaparral 2F.

I've ordered three of them !

Dare I say, the 550 JMB (yellow and red) and the 550 Red Bull cars are the wrong body ! They used Italtechnica 550's and not the Prodrive one. Too bad, especially given the price of those models and so sad given the otherwise beautiful job done by Dapretto. Why the hell didn't he make one of the Scuderia Italia cars

The 550 Veloqx on the other hand is the winner car from Le Mans 2003 and is different from the livery available in the Topslot kit (Prodrive Le Mans 2002). It's an accurate model and really nice one with full interior. I can tell you, I've already got one from the last time around !

I ordered one of the 612 Ferrari's last year and was most disappointed with it. There were paint runs and quite a bit of dust particles in the laquer. Considering how much they cost I had to return it with a refund. Maybe that one was a bad day, but it has certainly made me very wary of Dapretto cars. There is no comparison with the Racer cars which are of a similar price. They are on a different planet.

Last year I bought the 550 Veloqx and one 312P (spyder). They were both perfect. My only criticism is the driver of the 550 looking at the roof of his car rather than the road ! You'll recognise that it's not a major problem !

While the 550 Veloqx is really accurate, the others 550 do miss some stickers. Of course the main problem is the use of a wrong body.
