Hi guys,
I would like to "convert" one of my Ninco Porsche GT1´s..... So I´m looking for decals to make the Le Mans 1997 entry: Roock Racing Motorsport #32 with the NIKKO/Lease Plan/NAVISION-sponsors.

Does anyone have a clue where to get these decals

Or can someone make them?

Hope you can help me!

You could try www.slot32.de, they are based in Germany but their site is in English and they do have a pretty good selection of decals - plus when I have used them in the past they are fine about shipping to the UK.

If not you could try pattos (is that spelt right?) place, a chap in Oz who creates various decals in 1/24 as well as 1/32 - loads of liveries to choose from. Try looking on the links page of this site for a link to his site.

Otherwise you try pendle slot or getslotted, both do decals I believe.

Finally there is 'Iceman' on this forum, and guy based in the US - who is a very nice chap who will create custom decals for whatever livery you want if you supply good photo reference material.

Good luck, and let us know how you get on - plus a finish pic of the car would be great!

Cheers

Thanx a lot, guys....
I already tried Pattos, DMC and other "brands" before posting my question
But with no luck

So, I was hoping for some input, that I didn´t know of.....
Guess I have to contact Iceman. But I´ve only one picture of that car right now, so I´d better start looking for some more!
Iceman, where are you
Pics, where are you

QUOTE (fast lucky @ 10 Oct 2004, 20:17)Neither DMC nor Patto do provide the decals for the livery you are looking for, but Carpena does ! There are different sheets for the GT1 and each sheet provides two liveries.

Here's the link to their site :

http://www.decalco.com/

They have some decals for other cars as well, including the CLK that ran at the Le Mans race.

I didn´t know that site!
You made my day (erh, night here in Denmark, but...)!

Glad you found what you needed but for future reference, I have had good luck scanning 1/24 decal sheets, shrinking them in Photoshop and printing them on inkjet decal paper. (If I ever get around to figuring out how to use the Alps printer that i snagged on Ebay a few years ago, it will probably do even better!)

I realise that very few slot people know that make and this explains why their slot range has little success and as a result hasn't really been developed.Richard,

The makes you mention are the main sources for decals I know. I guess you know MRE but they have very few sheets for new liveries. Slomania in Spain has several sheets but those are mainly meant to replace worn stickers from old models. I remember seeing a sheet for a Focus WRC and an Ultron Toyota though. Then there are sheets for indycars in the US. That's all I know.

Ecurie Martini,

If you take a look, there is nice selection of 1/24 Carpena decals. I plan to make most of those of the Porsche GT2 in 1/32 scale !
