Hello,
in my welcome thread I promissed to post some photos.
I have chosen the cheap alternative --> Photobucket.
Hopefully the links work:

Track (sorry very small)

Track with old hairpin curve:

New designed hairpin curve - gives more track at the start/finish straight. :)

Regarding the track. It is a Carrera D132. Most of my cars are GTs. But I also have some Hot Rods. All cars have the scale 1/32. I use the old Carrera wireless System. 4 people can play (slot).
Christmas 2007 I got my first starter package. Between 2009 and 2011 I had a break with my hobby :-(

At the end of 2011 I started again, adding all the sideways (german: Randstreifen). I also "greened" the track a bit.
Because of the Hot Rods I'd like to create a kind of desert race way (although it is now green). Kind of Monument Valley.

I hope your like my track so far.

So long

Oh, is there a difference between an upload from a mobile device or a PC?

Newest change to the track:
- 4 Chaos switches installed (cut of power from track in case of an accident)
- Curve lane changer intigrated into the "knot" left hand side of track.
- Cross lane changer placed after new hairpin.

Next step:
Building a 2 lane pit (using a manual lane changer from my very old Carrera Universal 132 -> switches to the other line when a car goes through).

PS: Yeah, I like my ID too. ;-)

Hi Bigbird,
I hope you've won the iPhone

Yeah, my race mates and me like the track as well. Two fast straights, a chicane, two faster curves and than the slower (tricky) infield. With the new hair needle the track will get a little bit longer, wich makes a longer pitlane (double) possible. But for now I first have to take out the new curve lane changer in the infield because it broke within the last race, and than send it to Carrera.
Cheers

Hi Keith,
thanks for the hint. But it seems as if I can't do it from my mobile device.

depending on your mobile devise try turning mobile view or mobile web pages if in the setting option for the browser.
in android when in the browser it's menu, more, settingsand make sure mobile view is un-checked. this will the make the browser work as a full ewb browser and you will not be directed to mobile site but the full web site as seen on computer.
please note you may have to turn this option back on to get some web site to work with the phone, having turned it of if a site does not do what you expect or an option won't load turn it back on.

QUOTE (scuderia_turini @ 14 May 2012, 17:39) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Now I can't get to the normal Photobucket site - grrr !!
Closeing and re-opening let me find :- Linky to normal Photobucket album
I can't get to the normal site now, either!
Clicking Scuderia Turini's link takes me to the mobile site as well.
This thread should have come with a warning!

Edit... Does anyone know how I can sort this out?........
I've logged in to my account using IE and copied the link (which works no problem in IE) to the Photobucket login page on using Google Chrome. In Chrome it still diverts to the mobile site. I don't want to use IE just to access my Photobucket images. Where do I go from here????

Not happy.

QUOTE (beardy56 @ 5 Jul 2012, 22:42) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>try clearing your tempory files and delete the photobox cookieThanks for that.
Took me a while to work out how to do this (I'm a 54 y-o IT numpty) but it seems to have worked, thanks very much. It worries me, though, that this kind of thing can happen. Is there not some software I can use to stop this kind of thing happening again? I'm worried now that it will happen every time I try to look at people's images.

If you go to tools, internet options, Privacy then click on site and enter the adress of the photobox mobile site which should be different from the normal site. Yhen click on block. This will stop the mobile site from saving a cookie which I asume must over write the cookie from the main site. If the site address appear to be the same and no cookie is saved I think the worst that will happen is that you would have to log in every time you visit the site.
