Those are both classic "squashed 8" designs. Used by many club tracks. Easy to marshall, equal lane lengths.
Very well done! The only flaw I can see is the "kink" in the middle of the table which will cause deslots which may be hard to reach. Might want to make that a straight shot thru, bring it closer to the edge, or leave an aisle to get in and reach cars.
I sometimes wish I had ninco track so I could build something like that. Carrera track is just a bit to big to do that in four lanes in my space. The R1 is just really big.
