I am new to the Carrera world and have two sets 30145 and 30127. Both sets worked o.k. set-up as standalone.
When I put them together to create one layout ( using one power supply ) the digital lane change feature and the two cars
from the 30145 set did not work. All the cars from the 30127 work fine. The 30145 cars show rear lights but do not respond to
programming. the length of the combined set is about 24m.

Any ideas how to correct?

As 30127 is an older set maybe it's in the Pro-X mode. Check the manual how to set it to D132 Mode. The older cars and older Blackboxes had this mode, but I think the new 30145 will have newer digital components that don't have the Pro-X mode. As for the lane change tracks, that will be the same. Maybe it will work when you just use the Blackbox from the 30145. If the track length is really 24 m I would suggest that you put in at least 4 better 6-8 additional power supplies preferably next to the lane changers.

Thanks, you are correct I needed to change from ProX mode. I am backing racing!
