When's the next digital 24 hr race?

I looked on the calander but couldn't find any entries at all, let alone slot ones.

Hi, the next race is in Eupen, Belgium in October. All team spaces occupied already.

But we are thinking of a 24h GT Salzburg 2005, WITH the DAVIC system, so stay tuned.....

What kind of power do you need to run 15 cars on Davic? Multiple supplies or one huge one?

Power supply: As far as Iknow the Spa track has only 2 power supplies for the whole track.

Teams vacancies Eupen: I think there are already two to three teams on the waiting list.

For the next Davic races, Eupen is complete but you can always apply for reserviste. In what concerns the race of Namur it remains places.

For the 24h non-digital it is the 24h of Brussels on November 13th and 14th.

Davic runs the cars in DC, right? Why would one PS be running -18...unless the chips are built to look for that side of the sine wave and run the motors with it

?

I would have been satisfied with "2 18V PS's". was the "-" sign a typo? I sure hope so...

No, it's not a typo - I got it from the horse's mouth (David Laurent) - but it's nothing to be alarmed about

In DCC, power / message is a +/- 18 V (or so) square wave : it just depends on the internal circuitry of the base unit whether you obtain it from two opposite polarity PSs or a single, double ampacity PS

So, this really means that 15 cars, with NC1 / NC2 motors, are happy with 10 A - what's important is that PSs should be stabilized (not wall warts)
