Does gurning improve lap times?

I'm curious, does pulling a face whilst racing allow you to go faster? Is it a case of, the more hideous the face, the faster you'll go? Also, is their a favourite position to be in whilst performing?

Oh yes.

For even more speed you also need to make calls like "ooh", "aah" and "nice powerslide" whilst bobbing up and down like a constipated chicken.

I'm amazed you had to ask - wasn't it obvious?!?
