<{POST_SNAPBACK}>For my next trick - Lights!
Again the frustration of not having a track moves me on to building some thing else for the set up
so i started work on these for placing arouind the track - simply made from sprinkler fittings
solenoid tap for the base (drilled out to fit joiner)
13mm to 10mm joinerv (Ridge cut off 13mm end)
200mm riser
10mm hose tee joiner (ends removed to accommodate LED surrounds)
Polysytrene sheet
LED's (Electus distribution)
basicall all the bits get squished together a generous amount of super glue and than a coat of greay primer followed by some gloss white to finish
They certainly light up the track and even got me thinking they could be bigger
So the one at the back evolved - Now i have two of the massive flood lights and am in the process of making about a dozen of the little track side lights
and powered up even one of each is pretty impressive
night racing here i come - oh i forgot no track yet
sorry about all the pics if people find them annoying i will try to put less in.
Cheers Gloveman
Great work.
How much did the price for one ligth pole rn up to?
Keep the pictures coming!!!
