Hi,
Felt the unge to dress up My SCX rally loops. As I wanted some skid area and eventually some grass some light poles and a statue.
Well here goes.

This is what they look like now, ready for light and grass.

And some process images.

Drawing with pencil on drywall mud.

Carving the images.

Priming and putting colour to the image.

More coloring.
And still some dry brushing to do......
Have to order some seeds for the grass.

That is some of the coolest track decoration I've ever seen. Really beautiful...a work of art and something to display.

What car is in your photo? Is it a Ninco Corvette? Do you have more photos of it?

Yups, it's an old Ninco Corvette.
One of my all time faves
I call it "Horse With no Name"

The driver is a modified DragonBall Z figure.
+ various bits and bobs I had floating around.

The Genie (driver) is missing a steering wheel! ;-)
Nice decorations and nice car!
Once you are tired of the track, you hang the loops on the wall.

Thx, yeah when not in use the loops will be decorations on my walls.
My driver is Called "Fez" due to his head gear.
He was converted from this dude.

...and actually he does have a steering wheel...... from a ship!!

The search lights on the hood is from a rally car by Fly.

And I added a fly Porsche 911 exhaust system.

And last but not least a shot from the top.

That's just beautiful.. and a bit insane, like a movie theme where street artists and motorhead artisans survived the acoppalypse. Using racing and art as meassure of cultural status...

Knowing your skill and ability to make great tracks, is this a start of a new track project?

I've seen that you have dug out your sweet SCX cars,
Just planting seeds..... how about a "Mad Max Proxy" ?

Hopefully a project in the making....
Think small scenic modules....
The Supreme Universal Leader will have his Statue on one of the loops. He is being prepared

Meanwhile I planted som trees and light poles. Some civilians turned up and "If 6 was 9" took a spin around.
