This will serve as the thread for Round 6 of the EAHORC 2011/12 National HO championship. A race report will appear here as well as links to Photos and result sheets, for now the thread will serve as an advert for the race.

When: Feb 12th - 10:00am start, doors open 9:00am

Where: East Coast HO (ECHO), 1st Kesgrave Scout Group, Twelve acre approach, Kesgrave, Suffolk IP5 1JF

Check out eahorc.com for directions including GPS coordinates for sat-navs.There is a Tesco Metro with 10-4 Sunday opening right next door

Please let me know if you plan to attend. If you know what class you will be racing PM, or which F1 chassis AM, include that too...

Bloody hell Julian, I know you are only kidding, but the glass totally empty stuff is getting old.

I know what you can do with a good car, so there really is no need to assume the worst. You could us it on yourself as a mind game, then whatever you achieve above last place will be a bonus, but the rest of us have a higher opinion of your ability. First or last, the aim is to have fun, but I can't help think that having a downer on yourself will reduce that...

Thanks Dave for confirming your attendance, any chance to get the rest of HONK along? I think the turnout for this one is going to be down on the recent norm.

It was a joke, I know that with the right car I could win an afternoon class and win main grade in the morning, I just haven't put any effort into car prep and everyone else has, Mod class for instance has moved on massively in the last couple of years.

Fair enough.

I don't completely agree about Mod, when Craig was in his pomp in went back to 2008 levels in my mind. But there are plenty of guys making MR1s sing, sure.

I don't think I was racing slot cars in 2008, if I was it was my first year and I was more interested in staying on the track than winning.

I am planning to be there. Pro-mod pm. Looking forward to the corner names this year. Snoopy's leg and the dropped bo****k will take some beating.
