One quick question, sorry if it's a stupid one.

Quote "Any legal Tomy-timed armature may be used. Motor can and internals may not be altered in any way, other than re-profiling of electrical tabs"

Does this mean you can replace the armature with one from a different model as long as you don't change anything else.

If that's the case what are the pros / cons of the different armatures (not really a rule related question I know)

It's not so much the arm, although you can do a swap, more than you may use a can with any coloured arm in any of the cars that take said can motor. The most common swap is a Tomy red can into an MR1 chassis.

Does it have to be a red arm? What about the green one?

Also is the SRT still banned in open wheel and Nascar? I'm guessing yes!

No limit on colour, so long as the arm has not been balanced.

As for the SRT, like the MR1 that is strickly a Mod chassis.

I tried my newly bought SCD SRT the other week at WHO and to be honest I found it a bit rubbish. Didn't grip that well and wasn't especially quick. But hey ho!
