Following this year's very successful event, the venue has been provisionally booked for the 14th & 15th October 2006. There's a date for the new diary you probably don't have yet!

Too far ahead...

I have trouble remembering which day Christmas is.... it's around Easter isn't???

I'm pretty sure Team Farnham will be there again (not that that will worry any other team!) but could I ask that Ninco Pro Race Parts are allowed for 2006 event please?

Thanks

Gareth

PS - Many thanks to Ninco in Spain who replaced all our broken chassis even though we used Slot.it parts inside - excellent service!
I certainly want to have another crack at it. It's in the SF Calendar already.

Don't you think that's unfortunate terminology, given this years performance!
Hi Guys

When are you taking entries for this years event?

I've tried contacting Andy Tomlin but did not get a reply.
Any news on this? Is it still on for the 14/15 October?
Last I heard it was cancelled - but I have heard no OFFICIAL note on that. Other people were trying to get another event organised at very short notice to replace it (to be held at a site in Watford... but that has fallen through too).
There is a possibility of a shorter (perhaps 12 hour race on a unique ninco track to be held in the West London club perhaps early next year - but again there's nothing official.
Unfortunately, that's as much as I know

I received the following in July - have heard nothing since so I presume it is not going to take place.

"Dear all,
It is with much regret that I announce that I will not be running the
Eastcote 24-hour race this year. I have not raced myself since January and
have generally lost interest in racing due to the politics involved and
the attitude of certain people etc.

I would like to say a big thank you to those who have supported the event
for the past 4 years. This is not necessarily the end, I may well run one
again next year subject to my own circumstances.

Many thanks,

Brian Steptoe"
