Due to some unfortunate circumstances, the club no longer resides at the Northwood Hills location. Further information must be obtained from club officials.

Sadly the eastcote club was doomed to failure when it moved to Northwood.

Before Eastcote it moved was great club. Lots of members. Jack Foreman was the chairman. When they moved the new
owner soon deposed Jack and and became president himself. Now he is president of nothing!

Before moving to Northwood a lot of club members helped the 'new' owner with building and electrical work but they didn't know the 'new' owner would claim the premises as his own. They thought it would be great to have a club 24/7. :Little did they know their effoirts were in vain.

The owner who was the president rarely raced and started getting upset with Eastcote members.

There will always be a conflict of interests if a club is not owned and run by its members.

As can be seen here in the Eastcote story.

Good luck Eastcote in the future I hear you have a home till 2009 in Watford?

That's not always the case.
Just thought that I'd mention that Finchley Manor will be open at least until Xmas, after that who knows, but I am busy clearing some space at the garage

where I work, hopefully we can move the track there some time in the New Year, it's a shame that clubs seem to be struggling, let's hope 2009 is better for

all of us

Also anyone from Eastcote is most welcome at Finchley anytime.......
