Only thing that comes to mind reading your topic.......... please use some sentence endings, interpunctions and breaks every now and then. I am not dumb but had to read it twice and thought, aha. you write like you would say it, that's a bit confusing
About the sale, some people miss a particular car and want it badly. Teamslot had some nice looking cars, but most of them suck like a hoover on the track. And still everybody wanted that one.

Maybe the buyer suffered from "gottahaveititis"?

It's actually a quite common affliction that affects a lot of Ebayers.

Maybe the buyer had been searching for this particular model for years?

To each his own.

Ref EBAY MG Lola

To be be fair guys this sort of thing does occur quite often, SCX love to do it if a company coughs up the readies.

I know the Seller personally, some of you will have bought from him at swap meets. It wont be a hooky attempt to con people, I know he makes several trip a year to Spain to buy stuff thats not available easily in the UK.

Hi guys

I can confirm what Simon said....I've bought a fair bit of stuff from him over the years: no problems at all.

Depends on rarity value and how much you want something, as to what you are prepared to pay.

Cheers

The DHL liveries are very rare so not surprised at the price.

Guys, I wasn't having a dig at the guy. Oh dear......

It was just to show the original poster that this car will probably go for even more than the one he stated in his original post, which it did, but I was expecting it to go for more than £109, personally. This DHL one is quite rare.
I have bought from Triplex as well and there is nothing wrong with his services.

Yep I was watching that, but lost interest after £50.

I can't see that lot being worth all that but I may not have spotted something that someone else has or perhaps the bidders just know more than me!
