I popped the question.

 

7" sound as 1/43.
One should've gone scratchbuilding in 1/43 when given the chance to switch scale...

 

I can remember this Race car carrier as a kid so I would think it dates from about late '50's early sixties so would have thought it would have show some interest.

It was me. In the early days of forums it seemed the habit to have fake names. Being Scots and a motor sport fan the choice of Ecurie Ecosse seemed an obvious one.

Then I got fed up meeting people and having to explain that I was Ecurie Ecosse, but call me Scott. Just having my name seemed easier.

Why then, you might well ask, have Tintin and Snowy as my Avatar?

Let's just say I identify with his relentless pursuit of truth.
