I know that this forum is predominately 1/32,however,I'm in need of a little help please.

Elfin Cars here in Aussie, produced in the late 60's early 70's the Elfin600,mainly used for our F2 series, the car achieved a lot of success as an F2 car,the cars designer Garrie Cooper, taking off other aussie 2.5 litre competitors, took the repco brabham 2.5 litre v8 and stuffed it into the Elfin600,then called it the 600C.

There is little info on this car and as I'm about to do a 1/24 version I would love to have any further info or pics on the car.Can anyone help please?I realise its a long shot, but seeing the info that pops up on this forum I thought it would be worth a try.

Thanks(in anticipation) Terry

Terry: I have copies of Racing Car News from that period and I think they may have plans of most of the Elfins in the Elfin Story. I will have a look and copy them for you. Dave will also have some pics from that period. There is also a local web site with pics, have the URL at work.

thanks anthony.thanks phil, you know I would have had mags covering this car but for some reason way back when didn't see the need to hang onto things, now I'm paying the price for that.

BTW the 1/24 elfin is a sunset which bob had squirrelled away in his archives, looking forward to getting a piece of aussie motor racing history, loved those elfins, especially when their cars would stick it to the overseas manufacturers.

I think that the Booth Elfin is a sports car body and the 600C that Terry is referring to is a single-seater F2 car.

Here's a picture of the 1970 - 1972 Elfin 600B:-

This is the 1973 622:-

With kind regards

Phil,I got the copies of the plans you posted here and they are exactly the type I am after, although they are a little "scratchy" so if you can post me a copy of the RCN ones that would be great.

Thanks again terry
