Saturday - Endurance Racing, teams of four racers, heats and finals
Sunday - Individual challenge, qualifying and finals.

Track and Equipment:
75ft Scalextric Sport track, fully digital with Race Management
• 14 lane changes
• 6m multi-bay pit lane

• Race Management (SSDC) with two screens

We will also be running a "SlotForum" standard test track for practice and some fun!
Each team will be asked to marshal a particular section/bend. No track calls will be used unless a "fatality" occurs. Controllers will not enable track calls.
Racers must enter in teams of four. This will entitle them to race in both Endurance and Individual events. Racer MUST be 18 or over, though well behaved children(!) are welcome to attend. We are racing 12 teams of 4 in the Endurance races and 48 individuals on Sunday morning. Please forward payment of £60 to Ben via paypal or cheque (to Lingwood Village Hall) to confirm entry. If there are individuals who would like to race but do not have a team, please contact us and we will try to form teams from those individuals.
Cars MUST be Scalextric GT cars with SSD Digital chips installed. Please check with Sean or Ben if you are unsure. Cars must come without magnets - these will be supplied. Standard Scalextric motors, wheels, axles. Tyres must be standard Scalextric (no silicone). Gearing may be changed, as may bearings, and non-performance parts.
ENDURANCE RACE - Each team should provide TWO cars in the SAME livery. Liveries must make each car easily distinguishable from a "standard" Scalextric scheme. Cars should have a white square on the top and on each side allowing racing numbers to be fixed (these will be kept for the duration of the racing). These white squares must accept a number measuring 12mm by 12mm.

Saturday Lunch - Baked potatoes, Rice, Chilli, Cheese, Tuna, Baked Beans, Bread, Salad, Crisps
Sunday Lunch - Assorted meat and/or vegetable pies, Potatoes, Vegetables and Gravy
Bring your Partner scheme(!):
Norwich is a great place to shop and has some very interesting sights. Our train station is a 2 minute walk from the Hall and has regular direct services to Norwich (15 min journey). Why bring your partner? They can stay and watch, take your credit card and go to Norwich, or a bit of both! Partners are welcome to join us for lunch(s) if they wish for a small charge.
As an option, why not come on an evening out in Norwich on Saturday? Racers and partners can join us in a local restaurant for a meal (not included in the price!) and a few drinks. Transport back to Acle Travelodge can be arranged.
Accommodation list available on request. Approx cost for our local Travelodge (Acle) is approximately £50 per room. Acle is 2.5 miles from the hall. Transport to/from the hall can be arranged.
