Yes. It happened to us at the club a year ago more or less...

It all started with the issue of accelerated cars when it reopened after confinement... (it used to happen to us but you turned the remote on/off and it continued to work fine, but suddenly everything changed). In the first race it was impossible to run more than 3 minutes in a row without it happening to one or more drivers... I wrote an email to Guy and he gave us the solution (rewrite the txt...).

The following week, the lap count on the pit line happened to us... I wrote another email to Guy and he didn't answer (he already told me he wouldn't. You have to sue him in his forum).
Doing tests we find a solution (it is not the one we want but it seems to work).

What we did:

We have the pit line parallel to the finish line and what we did was shorten the pit line and put another finish line magnet parallel to the finish line (in the individual straight) and tell PCLAP not to do anything when entering the pit.

Hello. The error appears above all in the lap count when passing through the pit box. I have it set to count laps when I exit the pit box parallel to the finish line.
Sometimes the lap counts but most of the time it doesn't. If I put it to count laps at the beginning of the pitbox, it does not usually fail, but my fixed circuit is not configured like this. I have tried with chrono and RCSO2 and it detects all the laps perfectly. Both at the exit of the pitbox and in the rest of the lanes, so the position of the magnets is correct.
Try what I tell you. You don't have to modify the track, just shorten the pit line. Move the start magnets back and put a magnet parallel to the finish and tell the PClap to do nothing.

I put it in Spanish because I see that the translation is not exact and I do not know if it is well understood. I'll try to post a photo somehow.

and accelerated cars?
The dongle also hung up on us, failures in the pit line entry / exit, lap count etc ....

Guy gave us the solution to accelerations. configuring the ghost car in the file. (Not in PCLAP configuration)

Yes, yes, it is rare. We had stopped the system all year due to the pandemic... we didn't even know about the file. ini and when we started it happened to us about the accelerated cars. One day we were even talking without touching controls or anything and the cars that were on the track started to go by themselves.

We are now on Windows 10 pro version 21H1 (I think).

I just talked to a friend and he tells me that he has had problems with a headset plugged into the USB 3.0 ports. In the 2.0 he doesn't have that problem (current noise). They work at different voltages.

P.S. try to test the magnets if only to see if he does the same thing to us. I know it's weird but nothing of what has been said has happened to us again. This Friday we have a race, I hope the elves don't come hahaha

I don't remember exactly but I would say that we also tried it and sometimes it didn't recognize the entrance to the pit and it would tell you the lap and when it came out it would tell it again.

There have been so many tests that once it worked for us we don't touch anything else. We knew that sooner or later it would happen to more users and investigations would begin

Well yes, the elves came.

When we disputed the first race a colleague detected that he was missing laps. Soon another partner also and so several. The only change that was made before the race was to delay the finish line magnet that is on the individual straight (not the S/F one) because it was just before the exit to the track because when you stopped there, if you stopped to let another car that came thrown down the main straight you stayed standing on the magnet.

We stopped the race, we advanced the magnet again (move the track that has the magnet) and it did not fail in any more races (8 races in total).

Why is this happening? We do not know.

We hope that between PClap and slot.it they can detect the error and fix it.

another thing that happened to me (I'm posting it here because I think it's a PClap and Oxygen bug). I was testing my SCP3 and my SCP2 to see the differences in the knobs... what happened is that every time I changed the control, the car lost its brakes and the only solution was to stop the race and do a new one. Always with the same car (flew 4 times to the ground)

The strange count has also happened to me because of the hall sensor (in C chips), changing it solved the problem. I remember playing pclap a couple of times with track call and the cars would stop when I pressed the circle on the controller. I do not know if it can be configured the way you want (stop or slow down) in the RMS
