Wow they must have made the mould directly from a Scalextric Jag - that is uncanny that it is so similar. Thanks for sharing

Indeed these are the firsts 3 models of Estrela.

Estrela of Brasil is a very curious case, starts with licensed Gilbert and made in Brazil a set of circuit with 2 Chevy (also RTR) that comes from the original Gilbert mold.

This happens in 1963 and as the circuits are called Autorama by Gilbert, then in Brazil is known to slot cars as "Autorama", because this circuitos was the first in Brazil. But these are brazilian Autorama, do not confuse with the mexican Autorama.

Then create a Formula Junior and that is original (until proven otherwise) and the third car is a copy Scalextric of Jaguar D.

That is, in their first 3 Estrela car takes 3 possible options: a original car, a copy licensed car, and a unlicensed copy car . Ha ha ha, Fun!

The Chevy had an attack pinion-crown shaped roller. Their engines were at that time open standart type and plastic chassis, but later with the emergence of other models and other mechanical, Jaguar D can be upgraded even to mechanical competition.

Joel,
The packing dates this from the mid-1970's, but they had the same chassis in another yellow-ish packing since 1967!

Here is an even later packing with the Copersucar instead of the mcLaren, placing it in the late 1970's:

Gas Nickel Metal Machine Engineering
