Hi guys
Thought you'd like a preview of a new development we are taking foward. We will be producing a limited run of 10 upgraded cars as part of a Tucker RS series. They will bear a Tucker RS badge and each car will have its own numbered signed certificate. Work is in progress but just to give you a taste of whats in store below are pictures of the prototype. Your thoughts and input on the concept are welcomed - we will make an announcement on the details once they are finalised and we expect them to be available in Oct/Nov.
QUOTE Why the fuss about wide wheels?
Well, for starters, most rules for most racing classes require the wheels to be under the body.
All these cars in real life have the wheels under the body..
I guess if you like the Naff/Boy Racer look, then it is OK.
If you start with them sticking out an eigth of an inch, why not move them out another quarter inch,Oh! Heck, lets make it Half an inch, why not Eh!.
QUOTE I have roadtested this model personally on the Getslotted test track and I can vouch for the car being much smoother than standard SCX kit with a significant improvement in lap times.
D'OH!,of course it will. The extra rear track will certainly do that.
QUOTE I have a similiar problem using BWA wheels on a Mclaren just because the HRS chassis is so wide and the tires are a bit too large.
Yeah, that's a bit of a problem with most Modern Cahssis, they are designed with Modern LMP/GT/Lemans cars in mind, and are generally pretty wide accros the back axle bearings. The Pro Slot chassis is particularily bad in this area.
What McLaren is it?I might be able to find a better wheel fit for you.
