You can change the lane assignments when the race starts. If you want to force a specific lane entry you have to use one of the two custom rotation types and set it up. For example, "custom round robin sequence" with a value of [1, 2, 3, 0] would not let anybody use lane 4 no matter how many drivers you have. [0, 2, 3, 4] would do the same thing only lane 1 would be ignored. There are other ways to do it but this is one of the easiest, but using the "Modify Heats" option you can always move drivers around on the lanes.
Expert Race Setup
I have a 4 lane track but only 3 racers today
I added 3 racers in the RaceDay Setup
Then click Race Setup
Expert Race Setup
Heats (see picture)
Race set to Single Lane and times through To 4x
On the left The lanes and the 3 drivers are listed leaving lane 4 (Blue empty)
My question is why cant I drag the A driver to the EMPTY LANE If they prefer to use that lane instead
Leaving another lane empty ?
I thought in earlier versions of RC you were able to do that on this HEATS PAGE drag the driver to a different lanes Im using V1.13.0.14
