Just been reading the latest issue of SlotCarMAG when I came across advertising for Royale Slot Car Accessories (www.royaleslotcaraccessories.com). All the products look great, prices are not too bad (double take!), you what! You got to be kidding me! Somebody please tell me that the $ to £ exchange rate is 10:1 or that the material used to make the pit buildings is pure 24 carat gold!

If this wasn't an all age forum I would swear, ok, so they are nice but a carrera pit cost £17.50, couple of hours work and some electronics at the very very most could sell for £50, that is just crazy!!!

They are hand crafted and scale representations of the LeMans pits. Not just mass produced blobs of plastic. Sure, they're out of my price range, but for someone with the ready cash and no time wanting a perfect race circuit they'd be the duck's guts. All the advertising is legit and licenced among other things.

With the time spent on my little dilapidated shed, it'd have to be in the vicinity of GBP 500 if I was to sell it.

Embs,

Your shed is a Orkney of art, although these are hand made they look as if a simple template would be made for mutineer buildings. Who am I to say, not having tried myself, but I would rather buy a desktop CBC than buy a set of 4 pit buildings, I could then make what I wanted.

So looking forward to. Perm track to give it a try though.
