I don't disagree with you but I think certain types of events like drifting and doing burnouts are really "low brow". Once you know how to do a donut or burn out it isn't hard. Here in Germany you are becoming a bit of a villian if you are still a petrolhead.
These ridicilous climate activist glueing themselfs to the tarmac stopping everything,
getting more attention than any racing series! Every day. I hate them so much.
Motorsport is getting pushed in a "dirty" corner from politics and people who wants to save the planet...
So no chance motorsport is really coming back in germany as long as the political situation does not change drastically.
And F1 behaviour is like in the 90th. Back in these days they alredy wanted a kidney from you for a proper ticket.
Sometimes I like ridiculous things! Not F1 though, I haven't watched it for years. So why are you here?
I suppose I haven't truly 'watched' F1 for a few years myself despite seeing the races on SkyF1...it's become difficult to 'watch' as it's become a bit ridiculous in itself.Sometimes I like ridiculous things! Not F1 though, I haven't watched it for years.

You are right about heroism, but hopefully not these very stupid persons how glue themself to the tarmac! Two weeks ago some wanted to glue on the Autobahn!!I think history will view the climate activists as the heroes and motorsport as ridiculous!

All the ads for cars on TV are for electric cars, (sometimes the hybrid version gets mentioned), but generally full electric has got top billing, why use F1 for marketing?Still no sign of a German Grand Prix anytime soon either, will the presence of VAG in a few years help to change this.
Can you afford the 30 of your favorite currency per liter that it (currently) costs? It take over 7 KW to make 1 KW worth of synthetic fuel and if it is really "neutral" that has to be from renewables.... so... why not just pump it into something that can use the 7 KW directly?I can't see electric taking over when the big push by 'petro chem' companies is towards bio fuel, i.e. carbon neutral or carbon-free fuel.
...the IC engine still has a future
