Hi Folks
Might need to borrow a controller as mines in Bradford with Chaz for repair. I have an older controller but have never used it for F1. Be warned!!!!
Regards Allan
Sorry, this months round of the D3 F1 world chumpionship will have to be run later in the year.
We had a film crew filming car's with on board camera's going round the track at the club tonight, left little time to organise any racing.
Hope to see the film online soon.

Hi Champs
D3 F1 this Wednesday night, just got back after mixing it with the "TRUE BIG BOYZ OF WORLD SLOT"
and ready to mix it with the even bigger boyz at the home of the best retro slot club off Summers Lane N2!

I shall be descending from the heavens to unlock the gates of Valhalla at 7.30pm and welcome the Gods of slot for an evening of true finger [or thumb] jousting, then off down the boozer before last orders!

Good to hear you'll be joining us again, John.
Retro racers, start your motors!

L.
Can he walk in just like that? Don't we have to have a meeting to see if he's allowed? I vote he only comes back if he's limited to model train motors only.

Thank you my children
, your master is pleased with what you have done in his absence but now it must return to as it was and how it must be.
Yours the prince of darkness.

Or Joseph Lucas!

We await your return to the Wednesday Night of Champions with eager anticipation, O Master.

Drat and double drat. Mrs Howmet has bagged the Skoda for Wednesday, so I can't be there to welcome our leader with palms and laurel wreaths.

Sorry chums. Have a good night, and good luck with this week's World Championships everyone.
All
It's D3 F1 this Wednesday night, Mr Howmet might be bringing along Tony James who's an old racer friend of his from his Tottenham days.
Good turn out two weeks ago so no reason why not this Wednesday!
Doors open @ 7.30pm

Hi guys
Thanks for a great night out and especially thanks to John D for taking me home!

Just based on the turnout last night if the clubhouse rent does go up you have the makings of a decent benefit concert.

Racing those F1's is always a challenge even in D3 form. I woke up with memories of John C's Ferrari disappearing horizontally into the pit area at least three times and of course of Mr Hallums' super-smooth victory.

I will keep working on my contact near me with the nice large track - maybe we can unleash the beasts there sometime!

See you again soon guys.
Thanks Rob, always good to see you at our retro nights.

As Rob says, another decent turnout with most being club members!
Amongst the visitors was Tony James who's an old friend of Bob and Chris from the Tottenham days, think he had fun last night so hope to see him again soon.
Don't know if its because Bob's given up smoking but he was a man possessed! he was flying all night and won with a very good score, SteveK will be posting the results soon.

Hi All
Back to D3 F1 or should I say SCRRA F1 this Wednesday night, track shouldn't be too bad so a decent nights racing should be had by all.
Doors open at 7.30pm till just before last orders.

Sorry for the no-show again chaps. I had actually put new tyres & braids on both my F1s, repaired all damage from last time and lubed, cleaned and generally fussed over them. I painted your new F32 and mounted the body, Alan, and sucked a good half of the bods I owe you John. Then all available members of the family did unpredictable things simultaneously and left me bereft of transport, self-esteem and the will to drag myself diagonally across London.
I will put the bods in the post, John, and look forward to you joining in some popping action when you have a free day to complete the list.
I hope you all enjoyed a pint afterwards. I'm going to treat myself to two aspirin and retire to bed with a trashy detective book.
Farewell until the next meeting.
Yore pal,

Howmet
I am sure our Lowrider has some pictures he could post, if you look back at the old post you might find some from previous postings.

I only took 'Amazin' photos last night.
Here are the UKRRA F1 cars last time we raced them, Ian.

1st Bob Hallums (centre), 2nd Steve Kempson (left), 3rd John Secchi (far, far right ...)

Who let this guy in here?

Regards,
L.
