Thanks Steve
I did have a purple patch on Sunday, must have it seen to when i get back!

The Minidream cars are the car of choice so without one you dont stand much of a chance, did manage to get hold of one for next years event.
Cheers for now.

I have a weekend and a coming week full of obligations, I'm afraid.
Might have to miss this one out.

D3 CanAm two weeks after F32?

L.
I hope John D is coming because he has my better F32 car. But I will come along to make up the numbers.
Regards Allan
Don't panic, Chopper- I have two F32 cars for you. Looking forward to an exciting dice at the back of the pack.
Thanks a lot John. I think the March 707 is the better car??
Regards Allan
A reasonable turn out and good track conditions contributed to a pleasant nights racing on Wednesday night.
John Crocker has much improved and only just missed out on the A final, Steve Carter showing he's just as good racing these old heavy beasts as he is with the Scalex cars by making the A with a not too easy "loaner"!
It's D3 CanAm next which will be the last meeting of the year so hope too see a good turnout.

Hi All
It's F32 again next Wednesday night [29 Feb], track will no doubt be grippy which is just the job for this class.
Doors open at 7.30pm with cocktails later at the pub, hope the weather doesn't prevent for another good turn out!

I'll be there with a new F32 body for 2012, riding on the same old frame.

At the Thingie bash this neat little car was brought along by Matt Brice.

I've just mounted fresh rubber on some wheels for him. Would anyone object if he ran it with the F32s if I can entice him to come along?

No problems at all Steve.

Sorry chaps- can't make it after all. Mrs Howmet has bagged the wheels for Wednesday night so I'm stuck in Twickenham. There are worse places to be...
I'll put your Ferrari bods etc in the post today John. I also have Chopper's F32 car here waiting for a new body to be pinned on. I hope you have a spare, Allan. The Porsche?

Lord Velcro, stuck indoors with the drawbridge up.
You were missed!
Lowish turn out but still a good evening racing was had by all.
Bob again turned up! can't stay away, well probably because he knows he will find some racing actually going on!
Will post results soon, see you all this Saturday @ 2pm for the EGM showdown.

It's F32 Wednesday week, the calendar says track cleaning but due to the D3 meeting in May I have decided to postpone the cleaning session till then, don't want the track too clean do we!

Hmmm, nice 1980's Saloon car there. Looks very like what we were doing at NLSME then, perhaps even one of Ian Fisher's or Phil Young's. The reinforcing of the back axle joint and the neatness of the original soldering looks like their work. From about 1984-5, pretty soon after then we started using Trinity cans. The fixed crossbar is unusual - I did build a few like that but it's too neat to be one of mine!
Now you mention it Rob that sort of cross bar arrangement looks very much like how John Newton and Bob used to do them, don't think it's one of Bob's though.

F32 this Wednesday night, don't think we will bother with track cleaning this week because it will be cleaned just before the Retro event in May.
Doors open at 7.30pm as usual till late.

Buona sera all!
Managed to survive the earthquakes and now I am back!
It's F32 as per calendar this Wednesday night, expect to see a massive turnout as usual for this premier 1/32 class.
Door open open at 7.30pm but get here early to secure a parking spot and some pit space.
Ciao for now.
